Advertising and Sponsorship Information for Capital Cabal Networking Events

The Capital Cabal is an organization chartered to produce professional seminars and organize business and social networking events. Produced by 3D Technologies, Ltd. since 2002, the Capital Cabal brings together metropolitan Washington professionals to educate, interact, make connections, have fun and do business. The opt-in list has grown to over 3,000 area professionals, a majority of whom are involved with the Internet and New Media.

Members of the list represent a variety of industries, including government, non-profits, publishing, advertising and public relations, design, venture and angel funding, trade associations and other for-profit corporations.

In October 2005 the Capital Cabal launched the return of the monthly New Media cocktail party, with a flagship event called Second Tuesday . The events have been help at fine locations around the Washington, D.C. area, including: Kababji Grill in DuPont Circle, Gua Rapo in Arlington's Courthouse area, Blackfinn's Pub in Bethesda, and also in D.C. at the Hotel Rouge Lounge, Hotel Helix Lounge and Topaz Hotel Lounge.

Membership in The Capital Cabal is free, and the contacts list has been growing steadily since the return of these networking events. The total promotional reach of each event is over 30,000 area professionals , since events are promoted via the in-house list, word of mouth, and vigorously via the following outlets and online calendars:

Sponsorship of a Capital Cabal event is simple and effective, and the complete advertising package includes:

Display table (typically available);
Verbal acknowledgment by the host at the event;
Mention, link, and logo on the particular event web site;
Mention in all email notices to the in-house list (typically 3X notices per event);
Acknowledgement in event calendars and outreach, specifically a mention within the Potomac Tech Wire notice;
Two (2) event tickets.

Sponsors may bring additional staff at the regular attendee fee, typically $20 per person.

The sponsorship rate for the 2nd Tuesday event at Gua Rapo is $350 per event.
